Photographs (from the OED archives; originally taken for the Clarendonian) of the first volume of Burchfield's Supplement, covering the letters A-G, and published in July 1972, as it literally rolled off the press. So far we have identified the printer in photos 2 and 3 as G. Jones, and the printer on the left in the fourth photo as David Cooper (with thanks to Tony Bennell and Bev Hunt).
